Lodgon announces DaliReporter

Thanks to all who visited our Social CVIS booth in the CVIS tent during 2009 ITS Stockholm and thanks for voting on our application: we have received the Silver award with this application.

As result of the positive feedback during the conference, we have decided to transform this project into an official LodgON product: DaliReporter.

DaliReporter has a full feature community back-end with specialized roles and responsibilities for collaborating on reported location related issues and items. The product also features clients for CVIS-ready automotive devices, OSGi™ devices, JavaFX™ web and a mobile web client. LodgON announces new products, updates Dali Roadmap

Stockholm, sep 22 2009.

LodgON, the Belgian company behind the Open Source Web 2.0 ready

Content management system DaliCMS announces a new set of products that

will help third party developers and webmasters to create websites and

communities with a high level of interactivity.

Over the past months, LodgON has experimented with beta-software called

SyncSphere, providing community functionality while leveraging the

Java codebase in DaliCMS.

Today, LodgON announces a product roadmap that leverages the experience and codebase of DaliCMS and SyncSphere.

All products are based on the DaliCore code engine and the DaliNet workflow management.

The following products are defined on top of this layer:

DaliCMS: the location-aware Web Content Management System will provide the core CMS functionality
DaliCommunity: the community software, providing tools for quickly creating private or public communities.

Based on the Dali* software components and leveraging JavaFX technology, two additional products will be launched together with our partner iVox:

iVoxParticipate: a tool for online focus groups and e-participation
iVoxCompare: a tool for online surveys where people can compare their opinion with those of others (facebook friends, famous people,...)

The Dali code is using Java Enterprise technology, and can run on any Java EE 5 compliant application server. Parts of the code are optimized and packaged as OSGi bundles. LodgON uses GlassFish v3 for the development and the production of these products.

Lodgon presents Social CVIS at ITS Worldcongress, Stockholm

LodgON was with Social CVIS selected for a podium place for the CVIS application innovation contest.

This application will be presented at ITS worldcongress 2009 in Stockholm from September 21th – September 24^th2009.
